Instead of assembling a server room from separate racks, PDUs, and CRAC units, you deploy one module that is ready for IT equipment. Core Components of the HI2000 #

Every HI2000 module is built around five main subsystems. Understanding each one helps you compare configurations and avoid surprises later.

1. IT Rack Enclosure #

The enclosure is a standard 19-inch rack, typically 42U or 47U, with cable management and physical security. It is designed to hold servers, switches, and storage units. The rack itself is not special—what matters is how the other components integrate with it.

  4. Plan for heat rejection—condenser units need outdoor space or a ventilation path.

Worth checking: the module's IP rating. If you place it in a dusty or humid environment, you may need additional filtration or a higher protection class.
